Why doesn't Mexico have a wall on its Southern Border?
All the people fleeing Central America move through Mexico, which has a border with Guatemala and Belize that's roughly one-third of that with the U.S. So, why doesn't the U.S. work with Mexico to secure its Southern Border?
Mexico's southern border issues have been recognized by Mexico for decades, and a plan for dealing with this crisis has been in the works - for decades. It just doesn't seem to have worked - for decades.
All the attention given to immigrants crossing illegally into the U.S. has been plenty visible for decades with no significant plan enacted by the U.S. Congress outside of those during the Obama Administration.
