Abortion is not a story anymore

When abortion was legalized in 1973, it made sense for much of the nation, and has been part of a woman's right since then. Yet, the story never went away because religion won't let it. Is there a resolution that can make the story go away? Like there is in every other nation? It's a weekly limit such as 16 weeks, with exceptions. That or something similar.
