Community

One of the three main goals to promote of the New America Party is a focus on Community, and the various ways that focus interacts with daily life.

That’s everyone’s daily life, and it’s not just by geography as in where you live.

Our vision of community includes all the many versions of it, from the neighborhood where you live to the school district where your kids go to school. It’s the city that you pay taxes to, and the slow-pitch softball rec-league you pay to play within. It’s the gym or yoga studio you go to regularly, or maybe even the restaurant where you visit for Happy Hour on a regular basis. It's the fanbase of the teams you enjoy supporting. It’s your family, however you define it.

And, it should be your job that you work at regularly. The workplace is one of the communities that gets lost to its owners on such a regular basis, and is one of the areas the New America Party sees making a difference in society through highlighting.

The workplace is a key, and so is education - especially high schools. High schools send out graduating classes each year, but they regularly disappear into society, attached to Class of XX. Our goal is to enliven the idea they’re a Class of their School Community, and work to find ways to make that a more consistent, helpful element of society.
