History

History is a set of facts that are put in chronological order.

But, it’s stories that make those facts come to life, and make history such an important part of the New America Party game plan for success.

The United States has an incredible story that’s headed for a 250-year celebration this year. Not all the stories are great or respectful of the nation’s residents, but the nation endures its ups and downs to create the kind of colorful history that inspires people to do amazing things.

The USA is the ‘Land of Opportunity’ that has generated more inventions than any other nation throughout the planet’s history. The one national story is a continual series of stories from President to President, generation to generation, invention to invention.

The War of Independence led to the War of 1812 to the Civil War to World War I, then World War II, the Cold War, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and now the Excursion into Iran.

The struggles of the early 21st Century showcase the primary leaders of the United States: both political and economic; are not doing a great job of learning from history.

Not only has America continually gotten into new wars, including the most recent ‘War of Choice’ with Iran, but the economy almost collapsed entirely in 2008 due to greedy financiers who then got bailed out by the Federal Government at taxpayer expense.

The United States has continued on a path that supports the Top One Percent to the highest level, and supports the average citizen to the most basic level - not anything near what nations in Europe or even Canada showcase.

And, it seems to be something of a runaway train that neither the two established political parties are willing to address.

What the current two-party system is willing to address through constant background noise are issues that will continue the two-party system. Neither party will take on the Military Industrial Complex that has led to the Iran War/Conflict, or take on Abortion so that it becomes legal, which is what 70 percent of citizens believe should happen.

The Federal Government has essentially turned into a Cartel for President Donald Trump, who uses it to enrich himself and those around him with no regard for laws or the citizen rights. That’s not the story of the United States - not the one that should be taught to young residents.

The New America Party is dedicated to promoting the story of the nation - both good and bad - and not changing how it gets remembered, but learning lessons of where leaders could have done better.

America’s celebration of 250 years as a nation that began with the signing of the Declaration of Independence is the time for taking action to make a New America out of the current drab two-party system nation.
